Now that President Bush is no longer in office what are the people that post on sites like this one and the mainstream media going to do. With Mr. Bush out of office who will you blame for all the world's problems and all the bad things that happens in your lives. Oh, I forgot, at 12:00 p.m. yesterday everything was supposed to do a 360. The financial markets were supposed to stop their collapse, everyone's mortgage would be paid in full and every country that was fighting with each other at 11:59 would stop and embrace. The ones that I feel sorry for are Keith Olbermann, Chris Matthews, Rachel Maddow, etc and the people that post on websites like this one because without Mr. Bush they these type of sites will be out of business. Yes, I am a conservative and I did vote for Mr. Bush twice. I did not vote for McCann because he is not a true Conservative. I really hope that President Obama does a good job in both protecting us and in the recovery of the economy because if he does not I am not safe and my IRA continues to decline. I will support him when I agree with him but what I will not do is say the things about him when I disagree with him like were said about Mr. Bush. My feeling has always been that people who use vulgar words to express an opinion or idea it is because they have such a limited vocabulary due to a lack of intellect. I will be very interested to see what, if any responses, I receive from this post. Have a good day and pray for our new First Family.

Re: What now?
Wed, January 21, 2009 - 5:12 PMIt is true that the Bush haters can spend 24/7 discussing and trying to prosecute President Bush. However, I believe the leader of your party, President Obama, has said in interviews that now is the time to look forward not backward. I believe in Karma - people eventually get what is coming to them. After all look at O. J. Simpson. I have had people do terrible wrongs to me in my life. I have always chosen to move on with my life and not give those people a second thought. My life is great and productive while the people that wronged me have suffered both great personal and professional. I would think that the amount of time that would be spent in trying to prosecute Mr. Bush could be better spent with family, friends and enjoying the Presidency of Barack Obama. Hatred only hurts the person doing the hating because, frankly, Mr. Bush does not know personally that you hate him. Also I believe he always does/did what he believed was right and just and not what the polls told him he should do. Yes, he made mistakes but he will answer to a higher power for those mistakes. Prosecuting him and Dick Cheney will not roll back time so that the Iraq War is never started nor any of the wrongs righted. A trial will only take the focus away from where it needs to be - the economy, healthcare, etc. By the way I said the same thing when the Republicans impeached Clinton. Our Presidents need to run the country - everything else needs to be left to God. Thanks for your response. So far it is the only one that I have received. Although I would have rather read your thoughts than be directed to a website. I like to know what the other side is thinking - books and websites I can find on my own. Pray for President Obama and his beautiful family and our country. -

Re: What now?
Thu, January 22, 2009 - 11:17 AMI, however, don't believe in karma. And if some future president decides to do the same types of attrocities that Bush did, then this president will cause all sorts of misery and suffering to innocent people. This is because this future president will look at the past and realize that he or she won't be held accountable for the attrocities they commit. If Bush were presecuted for murder, then future presidents may be less likely to commit attrocities knowing that they coul be proseuted too. Yes, I know you still think it's wrong to dwell on the past. Well, that's your deal. I, however, don't want to see anymore G.W. Bushes. And dwelling on the past is one way to do it. -

Re: What now?
Thu, January 22, 2009 - 11:20 AMOn the other hand, if dwelling on the past about Bush truly is counterproductive, then I assume that dwelling on the past about any event is also counterproductive. If someone killed a loved one of yours, perhaps it makes no since to press charges since it is dwelling on the past. Besides, there's always karma. -
